We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Yoga Stops Traffick 2021! On Sunday March 14th yoga practioners from the UK to Australia to Japan rolled out their mats in solidarity with the young survivors of human trafficking in India. YST 2021 was the biggest campaign to date with over 170 fundraising events taking place from across 25 countries!
This year many events took place online but the message and atmosphere of the day remained the same: an international community coming together to call for an end to all violence against women and children.
We are delighted to let you know that so far YST 2021 has raised over £20,000 for our Indian grassroots partners, Odanadi Seva Trust, to help rescue and rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking, sexual and domestic violence, and child marriage. With many more donations yet to come in, we look forward to letting you know the total raised in the coming weeks and the impact of the funds in India.
