Stuck in traffic one day with her friends asking questions like “If you could do anything, if money was in abundance and your heart’s desire could soar, what would you do?” Rachel Wainwright came to the realisation that we all have these limiting beliefs that hold us back from doing what makes our hearts happy.
Fast forward some years and Rachel founded Exhale Yoga Retreats. She is now living her dream, with her big-hearted husband working with her alongside, offering yoga retreats in the most beautiful places in the world.
Exhale Yoga Retreats bring together like-minded people creating an empowering sense of connection and inspires profound transformation. Their retreats attract positive people from around the globe that come together to unite a higher frequency of good vibes.
Come join a fun loving crew and enjoy the company of new found friends in paradise for a life-enhancing experience…..

We took 5 minutes out to speak to Jules the creative force behind the retreats, to find out more about their decision to be involved with Yoga Stops Traffick.
Get ready to be majorly influenced…..
Why has your company chosen to support our global campaign Yoga Stops Traffick?
At Exhale Yoga Retreats we truly believe in the power of community. We believe that the more we share and support each other, the more we can grow and become stronger. Each of our retreats and trainings provides an opportunity for our students to get involved. We want to teach them to go and see beyond their mat. Being part of the Yoga Stops Traffick campaign is our way to take a stand against human trafficking, to spread people’s awareness and encourage a virtuous cycle.
What is your role within the company?
I am the Head of the Creative behind Exhale Yoga Retreats. I am in charge of capturing every moment on camera to provide our students with the best memories, allowing them to truly disconnect from their electronic devices and fully reconnect to themselves. I also manage our social media, and ensure that everything operates smoothly on our retreats and trainings’ locations.
What does your typical ‘work day’ look like?
Coffee, surfing, dogs cuddles.
Then I dive into my editing and admin work.
And more coffee!
How did you come to the practice of yoga?
My wife Rachel, who’s the creator of Exhale, introduced me to yoga.
It’s been an immersive and life-changing journey since then!
What impact has regular yoga had on your mind & body?
With all the daily screening and social interactions that my job involves, practicing yoga has truly helped me reconnecting to myself and being more grounded. I feel more calm, my creativity is sparked. I also feel way more receptive to others.
It’s also a great tool to build strength and work on balance when you surf.
Which is your favourite yoga pose?
Savasana!
Just kidding… I’d say Warrior 2, it’s a very grounding and powerful posture.
How else do you practice ‘self care’ in your life?
My morning surfing is definitely the ‘me time’ I could no longer live without!
Followed by a good coffee… and I’m ready to go!
Who/What has been your biggest inspiration?
Thanks to Rachel’s support and trust, I made the conscious choice to leave my 11 years old career in real estate to follow her in evolving her dream. She inspired me to live the life I had always dreamed of, living off my passions for travels and photography.
What do you think is the biggest issue facing the global yoga community?
With social media especially, yoga has transformed into a trend and most people have lost the true meaning of yoga. The asana is a tiny portion of it, and a popular instagram photo does not make you a true yogi. We are not gonna lie, there is definitely a huge business behind yoga now; but I feel it is simply about using your voice in a way that is right. You can choose to preserve the essence of yoga and encourage others to understand all its layers. That’s what we want to teach to our students.
What’s on the horizon for your company?
We have many projects coming up! We want to develop the Jungle Dance Movement through more teacher trainings. And definitely get more involved with charities across the world.
What message would you like to give to everyone taking part in Yoga Stops Traffick 2020?
When made with great love, any effort can make a big difference.
