29th March – Yoga Stops Traffick Day

This is the official Yoga Stops Traffick Day event which takes place outside the Mysore Palace in Karnataka, south India.

Through the collective strength of our practice, we send a message of hope, resilience, and solidarity—proving that yoga is more than just movement; it’s a force for change.

Time: 7am

Location: In front of Kote Anjaneya Temple, Mysore Palace

Cost: Free, but you are encouraged to buy a t.shirt to take part.

Hundreds of supporters of the campaign are due to come and take part in 108 Sun Salutations led by the boys from the Odanadi boys house.

With the support of Yoga Stops Traffick, our Indian grassroots partner Odanadi Seva Trust have:

  • Rescued and rehabilitated more than 14,300 women and children
  • Carried out 460 brothel raids
  • Educated tens of thousands of children, men, and women about sexual exploitation
  • Returned more than 1,400 missing children to their families
  • Brought 410 traffickers to justice
