Yoga Stops Traffick is a worldwide campaign uniting yoga practitioners to stand against human trafficking. Join us by attending our donation‐based yoga session at The Project Climbing Centre on Saturday, March 29th at 10:30am. *We are asking for a minimum donation of £15 through our JustGiving page to secure your mat space. Please leave your name along with your donation.*
The funds raised support Odanadi Seva Trust, a pioneering anti‐trafficking organisation based in Mysore, South India. Mysore is also the home of Ashtanga yoga! For over 30 years, Odanadi has been dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and reintegrating trafficked women and children, providing a safe haven for survivors of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, slavery and domestic abuse.
The number 108 is considered sacred in many Eastern religions and traditions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. Yogis traditionally perform 108 sun salutations on solstices and equinoxes to express their gratitude and devotion. We are asking for a minimum donation of £15 to secure your mat space and all proceeds from the event will be donated to support the Yoga Stops Traffick campaign.
