‘Yoga and Human Rights’ – YST featured on American podcast

We are absolutely thrilled to be featured on the American ‘Yoga And … Podcast’! Our CEO, Siobhan, was recently interviewed for the show in an episode titled ‘Yoga and Human Rights. ‘

Based in Austin, Texas, podcast host Ashley Weber is a yoga  and embodiment teacher who is constantly curious about all things ‘yoga and’.  This show brings the science and the magic of Yoga and mind body practices down to earth for the everyday person – to help you live your best life.

In Ashley’s words, ‘ My hope is that all of us Yoga teachers get on board this amazing global charity event!’ – We couldn’t agree more! If you’d like to get involved please do consider hosting your own donation based yoga class, or perhaps by making a regular donation.

Through our campaign #YogaStopsTraffick, we seek to raise thousands of pounds each year to support grassroots charity projects in India. These include the Odanadi Seva Trust which supports women and children who have experienced situations of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, domestic servitude, forced begging and domestic abuse.

Adventure Ashram’s Vision is a world without injustice, in which all people can enjoy their rights, their self-determination and their freedom. During the interview Siobhan talks about Adventure Ashram’s partnership delivery model, and mobilising for the iconic Yoga Stops Traffick global event, with a tiny team, showcasing the power of collective action. Please do listen if you can:
